Plant & Décor Volunteer

As a member of the Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan Volunteer Team, you play a significant role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for the families who stay here. Under the direction of the Facility Coordinator, you are responsible for the ongoing care and health of our indoor plants as well as assisting with organizing and refreshing common spaces ensuring that families are comfortable and support seasonal décor changes. Living plants not only add beauty, but also purify the air, soften shared spaces, and offer families a comforting connection to the familiar sights and feelings of home. Plants often spark conversation and connection between volunteers, staff, and other families, which can bring comfort during a challenging time. By caring for the plants and floral arrangements in the House, you contribute to a space where every family feels respected and at home.
